Disgusted with virus comments
I REFER to the letter submitted by No Fear Here on July 17 in which he let other readers know what a “bozo” he is.
Who is he to determine whether or not face masks are a waste of time?
He brags about being the one in a supermarket who would be easily identifiable as he would be without a mask. He would in all likelihood be told to put on a mask or exit the premises.
In any event, I suspect he would fail to comply and would be prosecuted or escorted from the premises.
Does he think for one minute that other shoppers in the supermarket would put up with his display of bravado?
IF Reg sticks to his principle and won’t respond, then I will.
I’ve been reading all the correspondence over the weeks and the one thing which stands out is there has been plenty of contributions condemning the views and attitude presented by No Fear Here with nothing in their support. Speaks volumes.
I felt Reg’s comparison to the Second World War was spot
Some father with his children in the supermarket, now possibly exposed to the virus, would see things differently and even threaten him with a “skelp” where his mask should be.
So he’s off to Italy. Why couldn’t he have chosen Brazil where his super immune system would be really tested to the limit?
My message to him is “non tornare presto”.

n NO Fear Here is disgusting and beyond belief. Selfish, ignorant and with no consideration for your fellow humans. How dare you think you don’t have to wear a mask.
I am certainly not a Nicola Sturgeon supporter but you are beneath contempt.

on. If NFH scanned various media they would find that this has been used many times and explains the selfishness of people like them.
Finally, we all know NFH will do as they please and nothing anyone will say will change their mind.
However, I did notice they won’t wear a mask as they feel it’s not necessary but will wear
one on the plane as they have no choice and it’s worth it.
As we have all worked out, NFH is prepared to wear a mask for several hours to achieve what they want – but not in a shop for a few minutes to protect others from possible infection they may spread.
Says it all really. The matter is now closed for me as well.
