Vacant site is a real eyesore

PLANS to build a multiplex cinema on a vacant site at Greenmarke­t in Dundee city centre have been dropped in light of the coronaviru­s pandemic.

A DRIVE to reopen Camperdown golf course is picking up steam due to overwhelmi­ng demand at the city’s only remaining facility.

“I think the course is too far gone for it to be restored without having to dig it up and start again.”

“Golf Dundee has been a disaster for the hundreds of local golfers in the city and beyond.”

YEARS of hard work have paid off for bus enthusiast Derek Simpson, after the publicatio­n of his book on the history of transport in Dundee.
