A MAN has continued to deny allegations that he struck a woman with a glass in a city centre nightclub.

Prosecutors allege that Kevin Delaney, 34, of Rockwell Place, carried out the attack at Pout, St Andrews Street, on December 21 last year.

Delaney is scheduled to stand trial at Dundee Sheriff Court later this month.

The 33-year-old then allegedly shouted, swore, repeatedly struck his head off the inside of a police van, repeatedly spat inside the van and struggled with officers.

PC Daniel Stirling was also allegedly kicked on the leg by Locherty.

Following an intermediate diet hearing at Dundee Sheriff Court, Locherty was ordered to stand trial later this month.
