FIRST Minister Nicola Sturgeon said Angus would be carefully monitored over the coming week due to a rise in Covid-19 cases.

“I think we are just going to continue going around and around... the levels are clearly not working.”

“Of course cases are going to rise. Everyone is going Christmas shopping. It’s too early for cases to rise as a consequence of people visiting hospitality – they have only been open a few days.”

“No wonder – half of Dundee is visiting Angus for a drink. They should be asking for addresses.”
