Tele contest can help you beat blues

- BY AMY HALL

THE Tele is going to help you beat the lockdown blues thanks to a brand new competition starting on Monday.

Our fantastic “January Jackpot” is sure to brighten up what has been a pretty miserable start to the year.

With a second lockdown well under way – and no immediate end in sight – we thought it was time to lighten the mood.

Wintry weather is making us all feel a little morose (not that we could leave our houses even if we wanted to) but our fun contest will see readers given the chance to win some truly superb prizes.

Over the next two weeks, the January Jackpot will offer you the chance to pick up a vast array of goodies, with everything from takeaway vouchers to TVs up for grabs.

All our prizes are “lockdown-friendly” and will also include online shopping vouchers. And for the health conscious there is even home gym equipment to be won.

Entry to the competition couldn’t be easier.

From Monday until Saturday January 30 each paper will feature a unique QR code. All you have to do is scan the code to be in with a chance of winning the corresponding day’s prize.

Tele editor Dave Lord is sure the contest will prove popular.

“Our January Jackpot will help to once again ensure our readers are always on to a winner when they pick up a copy of the Tele,” he said.

“We really do have some brilliant prizes so make sure you don’t miss your chance to get involved.

“It hasn’t been the start to the year any of us were hoping for but all of our competition prizes are absolutely lockdown-friendly – we are determined to make the best of a pretty difficult situation.

“Make sure you pick up Monday’s Tele to be in with a chance to win big.”
