Man, 36, incited abuse of children

A “high risk” former serviceman who incited an Angus woman to send him videos of her “crushing” two babies for his sexual pleasure could be monitored for life.

Andrew Kerr, 36, posed as a stuntman on Facebook and told Gemma McFee she would be paid to share the clips.

His sentencing was remitted to the High Court to assess his suitability for a lifelong restriction order, meaning permanent conditions and monitoring.

Dundee Sheriff Court heard Kerr was assessed as among an “exceptional few” who pose such a high risk of reoffending. Forensic psychologist Dr

Lorraine Johnstone found he posed a potentially fatal risk.

Kerr, of John Street, Dunoon, contacted McFee over four days in June 2018 claiming to work for a film company and asked her to abuse the children, including sitting and standing on them.

He was discharged from the RAF after officers caught up with him and found child abuse material in his room.

Prosecutor Kirsten Letford said: “He gave her detailed instructions and asked her to send him recordings of the assaults. She would be paid for the clips.” She sent seven clips.

In September McFee, of Angus, was ordered to perform 200 hours of unpaid work, placed on a tag for eight months with three years of supervision.

Sheriff Jillian Martin-Brown ruled the 28-year-old former nursery assistant was “exploited” by Kerr.

Kerr pleaded guilty to taking or permitting to be taken, indecent images of children.

On various occasions between April 7 and 22 2017 in Elgin, Kerr incited another woman into assaulting a child by sitting and standing on them.

He also admitted inciting McFee to assault two children by sitting and standing on their bodies, between June 17 and 21 2018.

Sheriff Alastair Carmichael remitted Kerr’s case to the High Court for a further report into his suitability for lifelong restriction.
