Wedding day memories as Queen visits stamp factory
THE Queen has visited a factory which printed the stamps for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding.
Together with the Duke of Edinburgh, she toured the Staffordshire plant, coming face to face with her own profiled features which have become familiar to millions globally down the years.
International Security Printers (ISP) was commissioned to print the stamps commemorating William and Kate’s wedding in April, 2011.
At one point the Queen removed her glove to touch a felt Christmas stamp. The visit to the West Midlands also saw her open a new Jaguar Land Rover plant.
