81% of tenants happy with homes
FOUR out of five people living in council housing in West Dunbartonshire are satisfied with their homes, according to a new survey.
The annual housing satisfaction survey showed 81% of tenants were satisfied with the overall service – up nine per cent on 2013 rates – and 87% were happy with their neighbourhood.
Three quarters felt the council kept them informed about services and 73% believed the rent was good value for money.
Councillor David McBride said the results were “encouraging” but said the council was not complacent.
