“People forget sometimes that I am coming into a side that has been to two cup finals and won a championship last year.
“So I am not walking into a side that doesn’t know how to get the job done. There are some really experienced lads within the group.”

Warburton has previously been critical of the new League Cup format but it has given him a chance to mix-and-match his side in preparation for the Premiership opener.
And Barton reckons it was another useful exercise at Ibrox on Monday night.
He said: “The most difficult games to win are usually the ones you are expected to win.
“We created enough chances to win a number of games there. We have got the j ob done and got through the group efficiently.
“While it has not been ideal, in terms of we haven’t scored as many goals as we would have liked, we have still got everything we needed out of
it.”
