Free bus passes

I MAY get slated for this but I think the free bus pass scheme should be means tested.

Fares need to be fair for everyone. It costs me almost a tenner when I want to take my kids on a day out and I get crazy looks from older people when my child is sitting in a seat.

I even had one old person click their fingers and demand my child stand – but I’d just paid a fortune in fares when she used her pass to go two stops. Elizabeth Hyland, posted on Facebook
