RAW (CERT 18, 99 MINS)

TEENAGER Justine (Garance Marillier) has been raised as a vegetarian by her strict parents. Justine follows her older sister Alexia (Ella Rumpf) to veterinary college, where she is subjected to a series of hazing rituals along with the other freshmen including her gay roommate, Adrien (Rabah Nait Oufella). One of these tests is to eat a rabbit’s kidney and Justine reluctantly agrees after Alexia confides that she had to eat a kidney the previous year. The forbidden taste of flesh causes Justine’s skin to develop a painful rash and she begins to hunger for meat. This craving becomes so intense that she feasts on a severed finger. Unable to control her cannibalistic desire, Justine joins Alexia on the hunt for fresh meat, killing innocent and unsuspecting passers-by in order to feast on them.
