Drugs haul seized

FOUR people have been arrested and £50,000 of heroin seized by police.

The discovery, which also included a large sum of cash, was made near Dumfries on Monday.

Officers said two men, aged 71 and 41, and a 35-year-old woman were arrested in Dumfries. A 43-year-old man from Paisley was also arrested and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
