ROBBIE HORN has backed on-loan Rangers keeper Robby McCrorie to shine between the sticks.

The Light Blues kid has made 19 appearances for Berwick so far this term after clinching a loan deal to the League Two outfit in the summer.

His latest outing came in the 1-1 draw with Edinburgh City on Saturday and Shielfield boss Horn has been impressed with the 19-year-old.

He said: “To be honest, I didn’t think Robby made outstanding saves. He just looked like a really solid goalkeeper.

“He dealt with everything that came to him and he is a presence.

“He is a fantastic goalkeeper and it is his attitude as well. He has got a fantastic attitude.

“He is a very likeable guy as well and he has got his head screwed on so I think he will go on to bigger and better things. We are lucky to have him, that is for sure.”
