30-year-old litter

MERCHANDISE from a FIFA World Cup held more than 30 years ago was among rubbish cleared from a Highlands beach.

A cigarette lighter was was found which was made for the Mexico ‘86 tournament.

Lotion bottles from Russia and jam containers from Newfoundland were also among litter collected at Balnakeil, in Sutherland.
