Talk­ing Heads star on tour in Glas­gow

TALK­ING Heads star David Byrne will be com­ing to Glas­gow on his lat­est world tour.

The mu­si­cian will be per­form­ing songs from his solo ca­reer, days with Talk­ing Heads and new crit­i­cally ac­claimed al­bum Amer­i­can Utopia.

He will play the SSE Hy­dro on Oc­to­ber 22 joined by a 12-piece band.

Byrne has called the An­nie-B Par­son chore­ographed con­cert “the most am­bi­tious show I’ve done since the shows that were filmed for Stop Mak­ing Sense.”

An­nie-B Par­son also chore­ographed the St. Vincent and David Byrne col­lab­o­ra­tion tour around Love This Giant.

The Amer­i­can Utopia World Tour be­gan in the US in March, be­fore mov­ing on to Chile, Ar­gentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, Canada and back to the US.

The Euro­pean leg of the tour be­gins on June 14 in the UK with six sold out con­certs.
