BT expansion boost brings 50 new jobs

-

TELECOMS giant BT will create 50 permanent jobs in Glasgow as part of its goal to provide the best customer service in the UK.

The company, which is creating more than 1,000 permanent jobs across the UK, also says the move is part of their commitment to answer 100 per cent of customer calls in UK and Ireland call centres by 2020.

The customer advisor roles will be created across BT’s consumer division in the UK and Ireland.

Building on the 1,100 roles created across the UK in the last year, BT Consumer will no longer use contract roles and has created permanent positions across a number of locations, including Glasgow.

All customer advisors currently on contract roles will be offered these new jobs.
