Artist to splash the cash on dream wedding dress thanks to pet sheep

AN ARTIST has her pet sheep to thank for being able to splash out on her dream wedding dress.

Glasgow School of Art graduate Charlotte Brayley is used to creating watercolours of wildlife but recently her five- year- old pet sheep Alan has become her muse.

The 36- year- old artist does a new painting of Alan getting up to mischief every day, and posts it on Facebook for a fee of £ 15 each.

The artist was gobsmacked by how popular the paintings have become, with Alan’s celebrity status helping her raise £ 1,500 towards her dream dress.

The quirky sheep has also helped raise a further £ 400 in commissions.
