What’s on?

TRIATHLON: Marc Austin goes in the men’s triathlon final at Strathclyde Park at 4pm but he has stiff competition for silverware, not least from double Olympic champion, Alistair Brownlee.

GOLF: The golf continues at Gleneagles with the men’s and women’s team event preliminary rounds.

CYCLING: The BMX competition begins at Knightswood with both men’s and women’s qualifying rounds.

DIVING: The diving continues in Edinburgh, with Grace Reid in action in the 1m springboard preliminary rounds and final.

ATHLETICS: In Berlin, gold medal favourite Laura Muir as well as Jemma Reekie begin their 1500m campaigns. Beth Dobbin is also in action in the 200m. Chris O’Hare and Jake Wightman go in the 1500m final and Eilidh Doyle goes for gold in the 400m hurdles.
