Man facing drug driving charges

POLICE have arrested a man in the city’s West End after they received a report of alleged erratic driving.

The force said a member of the public tipped them off to the alleged incident in the Jordanhill area.

They have now arrested a man who is accused of driving while under the influence of drugs.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A statement from the force said: “Following a report from a local resident about erratic driving in Jordanhill on July 7, police attended and arrested a man for driving whilst under the influence of drugs.

“A report was sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
