AN elderly woman was left “extremely distressed” after being robbed in her home.

Police said more than £10,000 was missing after a man gained entry to the house on Mair Street, in Govan.

Officers were appealing for information to lead them to the callous thief, who struck on Sunday, July 5 at 6pm. The man was described as in his late 40s with fair hair and he was wearing dark trousers and a dark Parka-style jacket.
