MANCHESTER United moved to within a point of fourth-placed Leicester City as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side chalked up a fifth straight

Premier League victory thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Paul Pogba.

The visitors took the lead in controversial circumstances when Erzi Konsa was deemed to have brought down Fernandes, but televsion replays showed that the Portuguese had gone down without being tripped by the

Villa player. Fernandes then converted the penalty to nudge the away side in front.

Greenwood added a second on the cusp of half-time with a powerful strike from the edge of the area following a United counter to give his side a twogoal cushion.

Marcus Rashford had a goal disallowed before Pogba added a third with a curling effort.
