Arrests made at care home

THREE women have been arrested after allegations of mistreatment of care home residents in East Dunbartonshire.

The three women, who are aged 55, 57 and 62, have been arrested and charged after allegations emerged that residents of the Springvale Care Home in Lennoxtown were mistreated.

Police Scotland said that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, and that relevant families and partners have been made aware.
