Mag Kirwan opened a cook book a couple of months ago and there was one recipe on trout. At least there is one, she thought, but then she found it was actually for salmon.

‘I said to myself, I’m not even going to moan about this, I’m going to do a book which has more than one recipe on trout.’

The result is called ‘Fishwives’ and contains women in Ireland from diverse backgrounds and professions.
