Aimed at the fitnesscon­scious, Samsung’s latest smartwatch has calorie counting/tracking and training apps, the latter guiding you through over 60 workouts and even streaming them to your TV if you’re exercising at home. More importantl­y, it’s waterproof to 50m and works with Speedo’s Swim Tracking app, making it an obvious choice for water babies. DIESEL ON FULL GUARD

Diesel’s first Android Wear smartwatch features a distinctly ‘sci-fi’ screen that goes dark in Do Not Disturb mode and, if you’re using the Activity Tracker, slowly fogs over when you’re not moving, to remind you to get your backside off the sofa.
