WHAT IS TRAPPIST-1?

TRAPPIST-1 is a dwarf star that’s orbited by seven planets. It’s the solar system astronomers have found so far that best resembles our own. With its hospitable temperatures and the possibility of water, it could also be the best chance we have at finding life outside the Solar System.
