Tom Aikens, the youngest British chef to win two Michelin stars, has
just opened his first restaurant outside London in Birmingham’s The Mailbox. Tom’s Kitchen will
serve dishes he’s spent his life perfecting, plus a few composed
for the new Midlands outpost. Bistro classics such as spicy crab cakes, truffled mac ’n’ cheese,
steak tartare and the Tom’s Kitchen burger are great for a lunchtime pit stop, while poached
