LEEDS THE WAY

The West Yorkshire capital has a burgeoning cocktail scene and much of it must be credited bartender (and part-time model) Manachain Monaghan. He’s already opened Monk in Buxton and next to launch is Below Stairs, on Leeds’ South Parade this month. The new bar will be set in the basement of the Grade II-listed Number 12, and interiors will blend those of a traditional boozer and a high-end cocktail bar with original Victorian features.
