Dairy-free orange creamsicle­s

MAKES 10

1 ripe banana, peeled and chopped freshly squeezed juice 3 oranges (around 250ml), sieved

¼ ripe avocado, pitted and peeled

250ml coconut or almond milk few drops natural vanilla extract 10 small popsicle moulds and sticks

Combine all the ingredient­s in a blender and blitz until smooth. Transfer to a jug and divide the mixture evenly between the moulds.

Add the sticks in an upright position at this stage, or freeze first for a while until the mixture is firm enough to hold the sticks straight. Freeze for 4-6 hours until frozen.

When you are ready to serve, dip the moulds into hot water for a second or two, then gently pull out the popsicles.
