PENGUIN PUZZLE

Officials at Calgary Zoo in Canada were perplexed when they found seven of the zoo’s 22 Humboldt penguins drowned in the Penguin Plunge exhibit on 8 December. Something might have sparked a panic, preventing the birds from being able to surface for air; unfortunately, the holding area where the penguins were found was not monitored by cameras.
