Cold-blooded
According to a Sideline [ FT349:11], a missing tortoise called Zuma was found using a thermal imaging camera. This reminds me of the ‘Komodo capers’ [ FT178:9] where we were told about Lebanese forces hunting a Komodo dragon with infrared goggles. In both cases, reptiles, being cold-blooded, would have the same temperature as the surroundings and would not show up in infrared. Nils Erik Grande Oslo, Norway
