PLAYED A BLINDER

-

James Maw: FFT’S Features Editor chatted with Spurs and England striker Harry Kane for our cover interview. “He knows he carries the hopes of a nation on his shoulders, but he seems very relaxed about it all. When you’ve been scoring that many goals, why wouldn’t you be?”

David Diehl: The Swiss artist produced oil paintings to lend our World Cup icons features a bit of old-school gravitas. “I’ve been painting saints of the holy game for some time using strictly old techniques – oil on pine wood – and all the halos are in real gold.”

Jon Enoch: The snapper shot Kane’s roar for our cover. “I’ve worked with him a few times and he’s physically transformed himself compared to a few years ago. It might just be his record on the pitch, but he looks remarkably leaner and sharper these days.”
