Your World Cup Icons feature [FFT 287] was excellent. Each player focus offered a new insight I hadn’t known about, such as Baggio’s emotional state post ’94. One Golden Ball winner I feel will be forgotten in time is Diego Forlan. He not only played very well in 2010, but somehow mastered the Jabulani. His shots dumbfounded everyone apart from himself – he was like an old cowboy, cleverly compensating for the dodgy aim on his rifle.
