Amount of money spent by entrepreneur Clifford Hards on launching the tabloid environmental newspaper The Planet on Sunday in June. It lasts one issue, with an unhappy Hards pulling the plug after stories including a jilted gorilla resorting to violence and a claim that sunbathing could be a cause of ‘Aids-like diseases’.
