Provide food for moths

-

Moths might be butterflies’ less glamourous cousins but they’re no less important as pollinators. Grow night-scented plants such as honeysuckle, stocks and evening primrose to provide a food source for them. If you want to see which moths visit your garden, make a homemade moth trap using rope. Soak it in sugary red wine solution to lure them in and check on the trap throughout the evening.
