Can I grow daffodils under tender geraniums?
Yes, why not? You could keep the bulbs in the pot and plant pansies for winter, then pelargoniums for summer displays. It’s best to use John Innes compost if the bulbs stay in the pot permanently. Put the John Innes in first then plant the daffodils so the tops of the bulbs are about 7.5-10cm (3-4in) below the pot rim. Fill with more John Innes (or multipurpose compost) and plant the flowers on top.
