What’s damaging the leaves on my fatsia?

This is probably caused by red spider mite. This pest sucks the sap from the cells on the underside of the young foliage, making it look dull and yellow. Regularly hosing the foliage, especially the undersides, can reduce damage and keep plants healthier. Heavy red spider mite infestatio­n can distort young foliage, so spray with an insecticid­e.
