Pamper baskets

✿ at least once a day, even twice in hot weather. Make sure all the compost is thoroughly wet.

Use a watering can or hose until water drips from the base.

Or, take the basket down and plunge it into a bucket of water for half an hour, then allow it to drain before re-hanging.

✿ with a liquid tomato fertiliser or homemade comfrey feed. Both are high in potash which will encourage more flowers.

✿ spent or dying flowers and snip off yellowing foliage to keep your baskets looking lush.
