Prune wisteria

To keep wisteria producing its magnificent pendulous blooms, give it a summer trim now. Snip whippy green shoots back to five or six leaves to help improve air circulation and encourage new growth to ripen and form flower buds. Controlling this vigorous growth means you won’t have stems obscuring windows or taking over your guttering.
