Hero to zero

My peach grew 26 fruit last year, then nothing. What went wrong?

Q APeach flowers and fruit are produced on shoots that grew the previous year, so I suspect you unwittingly pruned away all the new shoots last year, leaving no fruiting wood.

With peach trees it’s best to prune out the fruited wood in summer and tie in the new shoots as you go. Don’t prune when the tree is leafless, as it can lead to disease.
