Can I treat pear leaves with black blotches and orange pustules?

APear rust looks alarming but usually doesn’t harm the tree much. Affected leaves may drop prematurely but it rarely weakens the tree and the fruits aren’t harmed.

There’s no spray to prevent it but it’s worth picking up any rusty fallen leaves. Put them in your council green waste bin to curtail its spread.
