TEDDY BEAR TO THE RESCUE

Back in March, when we suddenly had to go into shielding, we thought the pots and tubs in our much-loved garden would have to remain empty. Fortunately we found a packet of free Garden Answers ‘Teddy Bear’ sunflower seeds in the greenhouse; all 40 of them germinated and grew into sturdy plants, which we transplanted into pots, troughs, planters and gaps in borders around the garden.

Our Teddy Bears really lit up the garden and lifted our spirits. They’re a conversation starter with many passers-by. Who would have thought so much pleasure could be gained from one humble packet of seeds? Thank you! Carole and John Angood, by email
