Garden or ‘Glow’ events across the country went on sale last month, as gardens prepare to claw back lost revenues from Covid-19 restrictions. RHS Garden Hyde Hall is staging its own version of Glow for the first time.
“With visitor and staff safety in mind, the RHS has put in place a number of Covid-19 safety measures to ensure everyone can enjoy the events with confidence,” says Helena Pettit, RHS Director of Gardens and Shows. “These include mandatory advance booking, one-way routes and limits on numbers.” All four RHS Gardens have been awarded Visit England’s We’re Good to Go certification: an industrystandard reassurance mark that they are following the latest government guidance on Covid-19.
“We can’t wait to share the beautiful new displays we have planned. Glow is a winter highlight for us and our visitors, and we’ve worked hard to ensure that these will be enchanting and safe events for all the family.”
