Put up pea supports

-

Unless you’re growing dwarf varieties, you’ll need a strong structure that allows your taller peas to scramble up. If you’re growing peas against a wall or fence, you could set up a wooden trellis or fix a ne ing to it, so the tendrils can wind their way through. Or you could make a wigwam out of bamboo canes, where the plants are placed in a circle and fixed to the canes, which are tied at the top. In a classic double row, two rows of peas are supported by canes that are tied together at the top with string.
