Prune and tidy bergenia
If your blooming bergenia is looking past its best, give it a trim now. Old, ta y flowers can look conspicuous in borders due to the low-lying leaves and tall-growing flower stems poking out over them. As they’re evergreen, their leaves can get old and tired so remove these ones to make way for neater, fresher foliage. Snip down dead flower stems and your plants will look as good as new.
