Feed shrubs in pots

Containerised shrubs can soon run short of water and nutrients during the summer months, so water them daily and provide a general-purpose or high-nitrogen liquid feed every week during the growing season (generally April until the end of summer). Following the manufacturer’s instructions, carefully measure out and dilute the required amount of feed and water into a watering can. Dilute as much as you need to water your po ed shrubs. Don’t feed drought-stressed plants until they’ve recovered.
