Water parched planting under trees

Plants growing under trees are likely to suffer from lack of sunlight and parched ground because they’re competing with the tree roots for water. So remember to give extra water to plants in dry shade as well as those growing in hot, sunny borders. Soak the soil well around the base of plants close to trees and anywhere beneath the spreading branches.
