What’s eating aruncus?

AThis is yet another sawfly, active from May to September. The pale green, caterpillar-like larvae are about 2cm (¾in) long and voracious feeders. Hand picking can give good control. Heavy infestations can be controlled with a range of insecticides approved for caterpillars.
