A feast for the birds

Earlier in the year we sowed sunflower ‘Russian Giant’ seeds that came free with Garden News. One was put behind the apple tree and here’s the result. It’s now taller than the tree and is eight foot tall. We’re leaving the seed head on the plant for the birds to enjoy a feast. Marje Williams, Blackburn
