After the flowers have faded, some roses have a second coming! Rugosa varieties have large, round berries, climbing ‘Kiftsgate’ has fruit in generous bunches, while the flowers of Rosa moyesii transform into handsome, curvaceous, scarlet hips that light up the garden , shown right.
