CHRISTMAS CACTUS

-

Right now your schlumbergera will be in its element, so-named the Christmas cactus due to flowering indoors during autumn and winter with a glorious covering of pink, red or white frilly flowers. They just need very welldrained soil, a light moistening occasionally and a tidy once in a blue moon. Not sure how old yours is? Well many have been known to last 60 years or more! This is another easily propagated plant. Simply snap off one of its leaf parts and pot it up – you’ll soon see it growing.
